Marple Bridge Stockport
At David Keegan DK Garden Design, we take pride in our ability to breathe new life into outdoor spaces, seamlessly blending functionality with aesthetic appeal. Our recent garden design project in Marple Bridge, Stockport, Greater Manchester, stands as a testament to our commitment to crafting unique and inspiring landscapes. For the back garden he pièce de résistance is undoubtedly the dining terrace, thoughtfully positioned to offer sweeping views across the expanse of the garden. Sheltered by a louvered pergola, this alfresco dining area provides the perfect setting for enjoying meals amidst nature's splendour. The central area of the garden is further enhanced with a lush camomile lawn, adding a soft, scented allure to the outdoor space. And as a focal point what better way to enhance the ambiance than with a bespoke water feature? Crafted with reclaimed stone sourced from the garden itself, this stunning feature serves as a focal point whilst drawing the eye across the garden’s width, captivating the senses, and creating a tranquil atmosphere ideal for contemporary living. A line of evergreen pleached trees provide all important privacy screening as well as a year-round evergreen backdrop to the garden. The pleached hedging is further enhanced with planting of white flowered hydrangeas and Rhodenderon. Front Garden Transformation The front garden underwent a remarkable transformation aimed at enhancing both accessibility and visual appeal. We reimagined the layout to facilitate easier access from the adjacent busy road, introducing recessed electric gates that seamlessly blend with the landscape. Newly configured paving now gracefully adorns the front of the house, leading the eye towards a newly designed entranceway featuring steps that not only serve a practical purpose but also accentuate the grandeur of the residence. This redesign not only improves functionality but also elevates the overall aesthetic, complementing the stature of the house.
