Cheadle Hulme Stockport Garden Design

A few pics of this recently completed DK Garden Design project in Cheadle Hulme Stockport. If you scroll through you will see some before images which give a true idea of just how much the design has changed and upgraded the functionality as well as aesthetic appeal of this garden.

Give the aspect with a north facing garden the main terrace complete with London Stone louvred pergola now makes good use of a raised area to the rear of the garden. Perfectly placed to catch those long summer rays it alos offers shade when needed. Include in the designs is a purpose-built kitchen run with 2 store cupboards and inset Beefeater barbecue unit, reducing the need to run back and forth to the house when entertaining. Walking along the inset stepping stones in the lawn and closer to the house is a bespoke designed water feature clad with London Stone premium DesignClad which has a lovely, burnished rust patina to it. Three waterspouts add a touch of drama and sound to the garden, these are solid copper ones I sourced from OASE. Framing the water feature are 2 Corten effect bespoke pots by Europlanters UK.

Decking to the sliding doors to the house is millboard set to match internal floor levels offers a low maintenance solution and the perfect place for that morning coffee. I further softened this with inset planting, bringing a touch of colour closer to the house.

And, whilst there may not be a lot of apparent colour in the garden at this point given that it was only planted up this winter it will be a riot of colour come summertime. Garden lighting all designed and manufactured in the UK by Hudson Lighting.
