Alderley Edge Cheshire East North West UK
Although impressive to begin with, due to its sheer length, the avenue on this landscape design project in Alderley Edge did nothing to create a sense of wow and wonder to what is a spectacular setting . My designs for the avenue included wildflower seeding of the driveway banks along with the introduction of Fagus Sylvatica fastigiata to frame the approach along the avenue approach. These were further complimented by the existing and rather stunning Corsican pines. Along the adjoining property boundary I included a mixed native hedge in my designs to further enhance and enclose the driveway views. For the roadside approach to the entrance gates I deigned a driveway with resin bond further enhanced with the introduction of reclaimed cobble framing details.
