A multi-layer landscape design project set in over 16 acres of land it includes a lake, the remains of a Victorian mill and an area of ancient woodland. This is a very exciting and dynamic series of landscapes that I am currently working on designs for. Plans for the project will include a wildflower meadow, lakeside jetty and restoration to parts of an old mill and mill race. Following that will be a woodland walkway with a floating platform set over a steep bank creating the ideal spot for wildlife interaction. An important element of the brief for this project was to create lots of wildlife friendly areas and habitat. This will include the creation of large scale and dramatic bug hotels as well as strategically placed bat and bird boxes. The project is very much a work in progress with parts already under construction. The pictures in this gallery show the restoration of the Mill race. Also In this gallery pictures of mill restoration in progress and visualisations for front and rear garden areas.
