Front garden designs Final designs for this large series of gardens in Eccles. The house is currently undergoing major renovations and once completed work on the instillation of the gardens will begin. Garden designs for this project was a major undertaking as the site presented pretty much as a blank canvas. Designs for the front garden were developed to set the retained art deco style façade to best advantage with an avenue of columnar trees underplanted with dwarf pines and lavender framed ion either side by formal lawns. The existing beech hedge will be replaced with an evergreen yew hedge. Driveway designs The driveway and parking bays whilst designed to be practical with bin stores located in this area it has also been redesigned to fit the overall design aesthetic. Carpark surface is planned as resin bond with inlaid granite cobble for contrast. Rear gardens designs The rear garden is designed to be a real family entertaining area with a central boardwalk through scented planning leading to a sunken seated garden area that then continues to a fully automated pergola kitchen dining area. To the rear of the pergola is a densely planted woodland garden area great for shade on a hot summer’s day. Side garden designs To the opposite side of the garden is a Mediterranean veg garden made up of a series of oak sleeper raised bed planters where the clients can grow a selection of herbs and seasonal veg. This area is further enhanced with the inclusion of tree seats built around two flowering cherry trees. The decomposed granite base also makes it the perfect surface for a spot of boules too. Leading off from the Mediterranean veg garden is a dedicated games area for outdoor table tennis. Watch this space for further development.
