Designs For Large Scale Formal Garden Worsley Salford

Garden designs for a new build house in Worsley, Salford, in Greater Manchester. The inspiration for the garden designs was drawn from the Alhambra in Granada, Spain. The gardens are divided into four quarters with a secret garden to the side hidden behind neatly clipped Yew hedging. Rills, a pond and water fountains further enhance the cool formal style of these gardens. The front gardens were designed with a sense of play with rolling mounded lawns formed, and enhanced by plantings of clipped Yew cones and box balls. I also made use of an existing mature Silver Birch to create dramatic shadows across the mounded lawns. A bespoke Oak gate was designed to separate the front and back gardens inset into a purpose designed brick wall and archway.
